📌 Program Options & Tuition 🎥 101 Club – $1,500 Learn filmmaking from the ground up! This lesson-based program covers the basics through hands-on activities and small projects. Students will also collaborate on a final group film (narrative or documentary — usually narrative) chosen by the class. No experience needed! 🎬 Crew Club – $1,500 For students who’ve completed 101 Club or another filmmaking program. Crew Club is project-focused with intermediate/advanced lessons and workshops tied to the semester’s projects. This fall: Mystery Box Challenge & Musician Interview. 💬 Tuition & Placement Before the semester starts, we’ll meet with the parent(s) and student to review tuition, payment options, and any assistance—our goal is for every student to be able to participate. Most new students begin in 101, but those with prior filmmaking experience may be considered for Crew Club after taking a short Film 101 test. Invoices will be sent through our website; payments accepted online, by cash, or by check. 📅 Semester Dates & Times Fall Semester: September 22 – December 11, 2025 Days: Monday–Thursday Time: 3:15 PM – 8:00 PM Daily Schedule: Guild Time (3:15–4:00 PM): Unwind after school, grab snacks, hang out, and join crafts or relaxing activities before class. Magic Hour Academy Hours (4:00–8:00 PM): Mon & Wed – Crew Club (project days) Tues & Thurs – 101 Lessons (lesson-based days) Attendance: Students are welcome up to to any of the academy hours days, but must attend the days for their enrolled club. Both clubs collaborate on special projects, skill-building activities, and film industry fun.
