Trisha Hosac is a Pittsburgh-based creative producer driven by a simple, fundamental goal: turning ideas into reality. Her career in film and media began in 2015, hosting and creating "4the412," a mini-doc and vlog-style web series produced with WTAE (Channel 4 News). That project introduced her on-screen persona, BatTrish, and her crew of creative collaborators, The Spacebats — the roots of what would grow into Spacebat Productions.

From 2018 to 2021, Trisha worked as a Video News Editor and Content Creator for WTAE-TV, cutting full newscasts, daily packages, and breaking news segments on tight broadcast deadlines, while managing the field center's live and satellite signals to keep coverage running smoothly. She also pioneered "YouTube-style" vlog journalism for the station, creating high-energy, personality-driven news segments designed to reach a younger audience.

In 2022, Trisha joined WQED Multimedia as a teaching artist and digital content producer, working on multiple episodes of the acclaimed music series SESSIONS alongside regional musicians. That same year, she became a key part of the WQED Film Academy, mentoring high school students through every stage of video production — from story development to filming and post-production. She went on to serve as the Film Academy's Program Manager, directing a team of 15 staff and 40+ students across semester-long production schedules, approving scripts and shooting plans, and guiding a slate of narrative films, documentaries, and experimental shorts, many of which premiered at community screenings and film festivals.

Throughout it all, Trisha kept building Spacebat Productions as her own creative outlet — hosting, producing, and directing original series including Spacebat Productions Presents and 412nes, executing multi-camera editing and sound design in Adobe Premiere Pro, and designing branding, EPKs, and promotional materials for fellow artists and musicians.

Today, Trisha brings all of that experience to Magic Hour Creative, where she serves as Co-Founder and Executive Producer, leading pre-production, cinematography, and post-production on the organization's video projects and directing the day-to-day operations, strategic growth, and grant work that keep the nonprofit's creative hub running. She also manages video production for iGeneration Youth, architecting a new monthly student news show and overseeing the "Hello Pittsburgh" series, a collaboration between iGeneration and Magic Hour student creators.

For Trisha, the work has always been rooted in people, not just projects. She loves working with other creatives and mentoring teens, serving as a collaborative partner, networker, and guide. Her true passion lies in the creative process itself — helping others navigate challenges, refine their vision, and bring their projects to life in a safe, inclusive environment where every voice is heard, ideas are built up rather than dismissed, and creators feel free to use their full creativity and find happiness in it.
